Egypt face Uruguay at Central Stadium on Friday, June 15. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Egypt and Uruguay will face off in the second match of the World Cup on Friday. In Group A, this match is the headliner considering the other two teams’ weak rosters. Egypt is a slight favorite to go through as runners-up to Uruguay and in front of Russia and Saudi Arabia, but it still won’t be easy.

Thankfully for Egyptians and fans all over the world, Mohamed Salah is expected to be able to play in the group stage, although his effectiveness is still up in the air after suffering an injury in the Champions League final. Egypt will need him to be at or near his best to go through to the next round.

Uruguay are the runaway favorites to finish top of Group A, and for good reason. Their double-headed attack of Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani is one of the most talented in the world, and they have a talented pair of center-backs from Atletico Madrid in Diego Godin and Jose Gimenez, who are very comfortable beside each other in defense. If they can take care of Egypt in the first match, then they should be able to cruise through to the knockout rounds.
