Spurs Twitter was set ablaze by the news of Kawhi Leonard demanding a trade from San Antonio.

San Antonio is a city full of anger right now.

They’re angry because Kawhi Leonard, their “Chosen One,” now wants out of the Alamo City. That’s according to multiple reports that state what those in NBA circles have known for quite awhile now — that Leonard is asking the San Antonio Spurs management to trade him.

It has been rumored for a while that Leonard prefers to head back home to Southern California to play for the Los Angeles Lakers, but, we’re also learning that other teams could be in play for him, such as the Sacramento Kings (puzzling) and the Boston Celtics (less puzzling).

While there are plenty of stories on where he may end up, we also want to take a look at the reaction in San Antonio. As you can expect from one of the best fanbases in the NBA, there is plenty of anger about the news.

Again, he was their “Chosen One,” the star who would lead the Spurs in the post-Tim Duncan era. Now, it is looking more and more like Leonard won’t be in a Spurs uniform next season, and judging by the reactions on Spurs Twitter, it’s a scenario Spurs fans are not ready for.

If the Spurs play their cards right, it may not have to be.

All Kawhi jerseys are now 80 percent off at the Spurs team store.

Kawhi can’t even handle the pressure in San Antonio. What makes you think he can handle the bright lights of New York?

It’s like he’s walking around with a girl that he’s about to kick to the curb.

But there’s In-N-Out, which he grew up with. So, I don’t think he’ll miss Whataburger that much.

Oh, snap!

Next: Every NBA team's Mount Rushmore

If I was Kawhi, I wouldn’t be within 400 miles of San Antonio right now. Just sayin’.
