New Orleans Pelicans

Though LeBron almost certainly won’t sign in New Orleans, this is one of the most interesting possibilities on the board for him. The Pelicans desperately need an upgrade on the wing and a combo forward capable of switching on defense. The trio of LeBron, Anthony Davis, and Jrue Holiday would be best three-man group outside of Golden State and capable of challenging for a title right away. Those three offer more than enough on- and off-ball pull to mesh together, and few teams have good enough defenders at the point, wing, and center spots to guard them effectively. New Orleans would be more than willing to let DeMarcus Cousins walk in free agency if it meant adding LeBron to a core ready to compte right now.
