NBA Free Agency 2018: One reason LeBron James should sign with every team
By Ben Ladner
Miami Heat
The Heat have probably burned their bridges with James since he left for Cleveland in 2014, but he would make for an interesting fit in Miami nonetheless. The roster is stocked with tough, connected, interchangeable players who play well with one another. The culture of hard work the Heat have established is real. They simply lack elite talent. James, obviously, is one, and would allow the likes of Goran Dragic and Josh Richardson — miscast as first options — to play more comfortably in a system that doesn’t rely too heavily on them. The optics of a return to Miami might be too damaging, but the franchise that James brought two titles would welcome him back for a chance to add more.
