WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

Seth Rollins (c) vs. Elias

WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins has been making his case as one of the best in-ring performers recently, putting on great performance after great performance, and now finds himself in the ring with Elias at Money in the Bank. While this also seems a bit like a filler feud, I think this has the chance to be a lot of fun. With Rollins performing the way he his and Elias being able to get the crowd into things, I think the Chicago crowd is going to be really into this match. Things started with Rollins interrupting an Elias concert before defending his title against Jinder Mahal. Following the match, Rollins was on top of the announce table when Elias made his return and went Honky Tonk Man…or Jeff Jarrett…or anyone else who has ever had a guitar…on The Kingslayer, which then led to a Twitter challenge (yep, it’s 2018 and that’s a thing) that leads right into this matchup.

Prediction: Seth Rollins is on a roll right now and his momentum won’t be stopping with a loss to Elias. I think Elias will put up a good fight and will make himself look really good here but he won’t be getting a title just yet. There’s still an outside chance that Rollins may be the one to face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam but I’m calling that a long shot. I think The Kingslayer will get that WWE Universal Championship at some point but he’s the perfect Intercontinental Champion at the moment and a solid reign with that belt is a good thing.
