1. Carolina Hurricanes

Everything is looking up in Carolina. The defense is looking very bright, and it may just be one of the best in the NHL in the years ahead. The offense is good, but it could still use an extra spark to help them make the postseason on a regular basis again.

There’s so much that can be done to the Canes’ lineup if they were to add a player like Perry. Sebastian Aho could see the first line, and Perry could play alongside Elias Lindholm and Teuvo Teravainen.

It’s that extra player that can help things progress even more in Raleigh. Goals for, especially on the man advantage, killed the Hurricanes this past season. It shouldn’t need explaining that Perry could seriously help in both of those areas.

With Perry rumored to be submitting a list of teams he’s willing to go to, there should be a lot of clubs like Carolina on that list. Silverware and promise could be on the horizon very soon, and Perry would surely want to be apart of that.

There looks to be no incoming challenge that could hinder the reality of this deal. Carolina has one of the biggest budgets in the NHL, and they have more than enough to try and sway the Ducks to send Perry to the Eastern Conference.
