Cassidy Hubbarth has turned her passion for the NBA into a career wearing many hats for ABC/ESPN. As a kid growing up in Chicago, she fell in love with the Michael Jordan Bulls, though Ron Harper was her favorite player. She once grabbed 16 rebounds in a junior high game, channeling her inner Dennis Rodman.

From that early interest in basketball she has gone on to host NBA Tonight, be a SportsCenter anchor and work the NBA Finals. And now Cassidy appears as a guest on Fastbreak Breakfast to talk about that journey and much more.

Among the topics discussed on this episode:

  • What kind of basketball player was young Cassidy?
  • As a Chicago native, is she ready to consider LeBron James in the conversation for the greatest of all-time?
  • Which current players does she think will make the best television analysts?
  • How will NBA broadcasts change in the future? What are some things that the viewer may be able to customize?
  • What is the most outrageous moment in the history of #NBATwitter? Where does the Bryan Colangelo/Barbara Bottini burner account story rank?
  • How will she be spending NBA Draft night?

Fastbreak Breakfast episodes are also available for download on iTunes and Soundcloud.
