64. . G. Indiana. Romeo Langford. 8. player

The story of Langford at Indiana will be one of a hometown kid becoming the first big recruit of a new coaching era for one of the most historic powerhouses in college basketball. So, no pressure.

When Archie Miller was hired away from Dayton to coach the Hoosiers, his ability as a young coach and innovative basketball mind to bring in talented local players and revitalize the program was seen as paramount to his success. After a surprise run in the 2016 NCAA tournament, Archie became the second Miller brother to rise to prevalence in college basketball coaching circles, and nabbing Langford from New Albany, Indiana his first triumph.

“Romeo is ready to go to work,” Miller told the Courier Journal recently. “He’s a basketball guy. He’s a willing learner. Any time you’ve ever been around him, he sucks everything out of you in terms of information. So he’s a great student of the game. His talent speaks for itself.”

Langford will join standout senior Juwan Morgan to try and pull Indiana back to the NCAA tournament for the first time under Miller.
