3. @ Tampa Bay Lightning – Thursday, Dec. 6, 7:30 p.m.

A chance at redemption for the Boston Bruins. You can bet that every player in the B’s locker room has this game circled in the calendar. December 6 will be the first time these two meet since the Tampa Bay Lightning eliminated the Boston Bruins from playoff contention this past post-season.

While redemption for the Bruins is one of the storylines here, the other involves one of the most

over-scrutinized

talked about incidents in the 2018 Stanley Cup playoffs. The Brad Marchand lick on Ryan Callahan.

While Marchand has since apologized for his behaviour in that game and told the media he was going to smarten up, there’s no doubt that this will be a storyline heading into the December 6 match-up. Expect to see a few creative signs from the Lightning faithful as well.

The Lightning and Bruins finished one and two respectively in the Eastern Conference last season. There is a very good chance they will repeat this feat in 2018-19 (hopefully flipped with Boston as the No. 1 seed). The two teams are not losing any key pieces and are both poised to remain strong next year.

This one will be a fun game to watch and could very well be a preview to another Eastern Conference semi final in 2019. Enjoy.
