20. Rockies (+2)

The Rockies were blessed with a 4 games series against the Mets, in which they won 3 games, helping them rise back up the rankings. They then proceeded to lose a series with the Marlins, disappointing again. The lack of strong starting pitching daily that they had earlier in the year is hurting them.

19. Rays (+2)

Last week the Rays were good. They took 1 out of 3 from the impossible to beat Astros then really turned it on. They swept the Yankees and just beat the Nationals 11-0 as they now have a 4 game win streak. It has been a lot of fun to watch the Rays through this year.

18. Tigers (-2)

Oof, the Tigers have lost 6 in a row after taking 2 out of 3 from the Twins then sweeping the White Sox. The team that looked like it might be able to push the Indians in the division has disappeared and the Tigers are now everything one expected them to be. Time to start selling.

17. Blue Jays (+1)

The Blue Jays have won 7 of their last 10 and are continuing to show improvement as they become the team they were expected to be. It’s likely too little too late, but will continue to improve the stocks of their expiring contracts.

16. Giants (+1)

The Giants are back up above .500 as they continue to stay in the playoff race. They are doing whatever they possibly can to continue their success as long as they can. Series wins against the Marlins and Padres last week were good as they didn’t drop many of their winnable games. They have to continue this if they want to remain playoff contenders.
