Chicago White Sox: Joakim Soria

The 2018 camoaign looks like another rough one for the Chicago White Sox, who are nowhere near the playoff race as we head towards the All Star break. Whether it is the offense, or the pitching, this White Sox team is pretty bad, and it is time they trade away some of their veterans for some assets.

In the AL Central, the Cleveland Indians are going to come out on top, and they will certianly be the only team that represents the division in the playoffs. When it comes to the roster, they should unload a bunch of their veterans, and they may be able to get a good haul for closer Joakim Soria.

Soria comes with a pretty hefty price tag, but he is an arm that can really help a contender down the stretch. He has done a much better job with his strikeout to walk ratio this season, and could be used as a nice eighth inning guy in the playoffs.

The 34-year old has appeared in 31 games for the White Sox this season, finishing the contest in 21 of those appearances. His earned run average of 2.70 is the lowest it has been in years, and he is striking out better than a batter per inning.

The White Sox have been bad for some time now, and it is finally time for them to blow this thing up. They just do not have the talent to compete in their division, which to be honest, is one of the worst divisions in all of Major League Baseball.
