X Games Minneapolis 2018: Who is competing in skateboard big air?

Here’s everything you need to about who is competing in skateboard big air at X Games Minneapolis later this month.

The Summer X Games returns to Minneapolis, Minnesota, for the second year in a row when it kicks off on Thursday, July 19, and runs through the 22. Viewers will get a series of extreme sporting events, live concerts and, if you’re there in person, some pretty rad swag booths.

How to watch the competition:

Date: Saturday, July 21

Time: 9:30-11:00 p.m. ET

Channel: ESPN

Various events will air on ESPN and ABC and a full TV schedule of all events can be found here.

Skateboarding events at this year’s X Games in addition to the big air contest will be held on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets to the event are still available here. Admission varies by day but, generally, prices start around $20 and go up to $300 for the XIP ultimate fan experience. You can even book a hotel room through the X Games.

All of the X Games competitions and surrounding events will be held at U.S. Bank Stadium (home of the Minnesota Vikings), the Medtronic Plaza or Downtown East Commons Park.

Fans in attendance can even download the X Games app, which offers a “unique event experience, and provides resources for attending and viewing the event with ease,” according to the X Games official website.
