X Games Minneapolis 2018: How to watch skateboard vert

The X Games Minneapolis will kick off on Thursday night with the skateboard vert contest. Here’s how you can watch the event.

Everyone remembers where they were the first time Tony Hawk threw down the 900. It was an iconic moment in X Games history, as well as in the world of sports in general.

Whether it was that moment, the showdowns between Bucky, Bob, Andy and the like, or the “new kid” Shaun White taking over the game as one of the best dual-sport athletes in extreme sports, everyone loves the vert ramp.

Whether you grew up watching those classic names or you are a fan of the stars of today, there’s something for everyone in the 2018 X Games Minneapolis skateboard vert competition. The event kicks off the 2018 X Games and it’s sure to be as high-flying as ever.

Here’s how and when you can watch this year’s event.

How to watch

Date: Thursday, July 19, 2018.

Time: Qualifiers: 7:00 p.m. ET to 11:00 p.m. ET.

Channel: ESPN
