3. Josh Rosen, QB, Cardinals

Already a fan favorite in The Desert, Rosen is coming into the NFL with a chip on his shoulder. With one of the most versatile runningbacks in recent memory, in David Johnson, coming back from surgery, Rosen has a great supporting cast to help him progress. I don’t foresee Sam Bradford winning the job, just based on durability and the urge the front office has to have a young franchise quarterback for the first time.

Larry Fitzgerald staving off retirement for one more year will also give Rosen a proven target over the middle, Fitz is 34 years old going into this season but caught 109 balls last season, with little signs of slowing down. Playing in 11 games for UCLA last season and putting together one of the most efficient seasons with a 147.0 passer rating, Rosen seems to be a perfect fit for what newly minted Head Coach Steve Wilks wants to do offensively in Arizona.

Rosen will be taking strictly high percentage pass attempts to start off his career due to the presence of David Johnson, but he will definitely be start-worthy against weak secondaries or as a bye week rental.
