The Nets, Indiana Pacers, and Nuggets were all stung by the lack of ABA inclusion in this project. Though, only the Nets were stung by a Russian oligarch.

The pinnacle of the franchise came in the early 2000s when Kidd led good but not great squads to their death against vastly superior Western Conference super powers.

Kidd, Carter, and Richard Jefferson highlighted teams with star power that failed to truly take off and the Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Brook Lopez Nets never lived up to the unfair expectations set in front of them.

The good news is while many teams lack direction, floating aimlessly around the Association’s basement, General Manager Sean Marks is poised and appears to have a vision.
