When you consider the small market, the trading of the pick that would become Magic Johnson, and the Jordan era directly lining up with the Jazz’s peak — the franchise has done well.
Malone and Stockton never lifted the Larry O’Brien trophy but they are one of the 10 best duos to ever lace em’ up. Dantley is one of the best scorers to ever do it. Andrei Kirilenko is one the most underrated players of all-time.
Gobert might be a generational player defensively and Mitchell’s rookie campaign was jaw-dropping. The Jazz are in as good of a place as you can be going forward. Aside from, well, the Warriors being virtually unbeatable.
