No one has won more than the Portland Trail Blazers — in an alternate universe. Scarred by what could’ve been, the Blazers have consistently missed on iconic talents and legendary opportunities.

Amongst others — Walton’s injury, Roy’s injury, passing on Jordan in 1984, passing on Durant in 2007, “Bryant to O’Neal!”  The Blazers have struggled to overcome their own misfortune for four decades.

The current day Blazers have one of the league’s most prolific scorers, a competitor with a permanently lodged chip on his shoulder but have overpaid subpar role players leaving little opportunity for them to ever clear the surrounding Western Conference hurdles.

The Blazers built a good team over the last few years but may be headed back towards the bottom.
