1. Atlanta Falcons

The lack of a consistent pass rush could be the one thing that costs the Falcons a chance to reach a Super Bowl. Last year’s top sack artist, Adrian Clayborn, took his talents to New England in the offseason. Atlanta is hoping for a bounce back season out of Vic Beasley, but that’s a big gamble for a legitimate Super Bowl contender to take.

Bringing Mack into the Falcons defense would make this unit much more dangerous. He would be a major upgrade over Duke Riley at the strong side linebacker position. Riley is best suited to be a backup while Mack is one of the best outside linebackers in football.

The real question here is whether or not the Falcons front office has the nerve to make such a big move. They’ve been a little hesitant to really go for it over the last decade or so. Atlanta typically prefers to build through the draft rather than taking big swings in free agency.

Next. The Raiders have plenty of problems other than Khalil Mack. dark

Acquiring Mack would be a massive departure from the way this team has been constructed. That doesn’t mean it isn’t something the Falcons should do though. Super Bowl windows don’t remain open forever. If Dan Quinn wants to get this team back to the promised land, bringing Mack into the fold would greatly enhance his chances of success.
