Miami Dolphins – Mike Gesicki

The Dolphins have a lot of questions that need to be answered. Ryan Tannehill is back and Adam Gase is implementing his offense for the second year. The defense looks better on paper. However, the Dolphins don’t seem to have a team that will overtake their division, let alone get in to the playoffs. The Dolphins are a few years away from being a competitive group. However, they do have some interesting options on the offense and one player that I like to be a breakout fantasy option.

Miami has an interesting group of offensive weapons, none more so than Mike Gesicki. While he is a terrible blocker, he is a great weapon in the passing game. Gesicki is very athletic and we be utilized in the slot frequently. Look for him to score a lot of points on touchdowns in the red zone. The Dolphins will use him for contested catches in the middle of the field for tough yards as well.

Minnesota Vikings – Kendall Wright

The Vikings look like they may win it all this season. On paper, this is a very talented football team. Kirk Cousins brings a confidence in an already talented passing game. Furthermore, Dalvin Cook is returning from injury. While there are several players that are being hyped as top fantasy options, there is one that is being forgotten.

Wright put up sneaky-good numbers with Chicago last season. Unfortunately, the Bears were one of the worst teams in football. Look for Wright to have plenty of opportunities lined up with Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. Wright is a solid possession receiver who will rack up fantasy points catching passes in the middle of the field.
