New England Patriots – Jeremy Hill

This is not the same team that we have grown accustom to. The Patriots don’t seem, at least on paper, to have the same caliber of talent on offense this season. The team parted ways with Brandin Cooks and Danny Amendola this offseason and Julian Edelman is under suspension for  awhile. While this team has some uncertainty, there are definitely some bright spots on offense.

The New England Patriots have a TON of serviceable running backs. However, I look for Jeremy Hill to have a very good season. The Patriots will use him to his strengths and scheme him into the offense better than he ever was with the Bengals. Hill should be the number one back on this team because of his balance. He can catch out of the backfield and is a shifty runner. If used correctly, Hill will surprise.

New Orleans Saints – Benjamin Watson

The Saints are another one of those teams that look unbeatable on paper. Even though Drew Brees is probably past his prime, the Saints have an unbelievable offense. The defense showed signs of great optimism last season. The team looks to make a Super Bowl run in 2018 and almost made it last season if not for a miracle at the end of the playoff game vs the Vikings, when Stefon Diggs broke away for a touchdown in the last moments of the game.

I know, I know. Benjamin Watson is old. But, as a fantasy player last year, he was money. He had 61 receptions in 12 games started. With four touchdowns, Watson may surprise people again this season. At 37, many are sleeping on his abilities. However, he may have an even better season this year. Last time he was with New Orleans, Watson was very dominant in their offense.
