Leon Bailey (Bayer Leverkusen)

The Jamaican winger was linked with moves to Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and many more during the summer, summing up how much of a talent he is viewed as being.

At 21, he is a key man for Leverkusen along with other exciting forward players Julian Brandt, Kai Havertz and Kevin Volland.

His consistency is not always the best, but that will only improve with age, and when he is at the peak of his powers, there are few better wingers in the Bundesliga.

He was directly involved in 15 goals last season – scoring nine times and assisting six – and should improve on that this time around should he stay injury-free.

If he makes a similar impact this season as he did last, a big-money move will almost certainly be on the cards.

Kerem Demirbay (Hoffenheim)

Hoffenheim’s Turkish-born German international Kerem Demirbay is a left-footed midfielder best deployed as a number ten.

His dribbling and passing abilities create chances galore, but he will need to improve on a record of just two goals and two assists in the league that he managed last season to fulfil his potential.

He missed a significant portion of the end of last season with ankle ligament damage, but once he returns to the team he will be important for his club as they aim to establish themselves as a top-four outfit.

The Champions League will provide a huge test, but also a chance to show off what he capable of. He is another who could be set for a move to one of Europe’s top clubs should he replicate the same impressive form he has shown in recent seasons.
