19. Auburn Tigers – Jarrett Stidham, QB

The Auburn Tigers have a lot to look forward to in 2018, especially because they were only one game away from the College Football Playoff. Wins over both Alabama and Georgia proved the Tigers can hang with the big dogs in college football.

When dissecting the success Auburn had in 2017, Jarrett Stidham is a major reason why. Stidham sat in 2016 after his transfer, and many were anticipating his debut for Auburn in 2017. He didn’t disappoint, throwing for over 3,000 yards, 18 touchdowns and only six interceptions.

This season, the expectations are high, and Stidham is the guy the Tigers need to get them to the promised land. He showed he has the accuracy, arm strength, and pocket presence to be one of the best quarterbacks in college football.

Stidham hopes to make a jump in 2018, and he will need to. Both Kerryon Johnson and Kamryn Pettway won’t be with the Tigers in 2018 after making the jump to the NFL. Luckily, he will be able to lean on leading receiver Ryan Davis again on the perimeter. Ultimately, Auburn’s title hopes rest on the back of Stidham.
