10. Dalvin Cook, Minnesota Vikings

Prior to his knee injury, Dalvin Cook was on pace to be one of the better fantasy options in the league. He’s someone who contributes in multiple areas while also bringing a big-play threat. It will be curious to see if his workload is impacted by the signing of Kirk Cousins.

9. Leonard Fournette, Jacksonville Jaguars

Fournette will again be the focal point of the Jaguars offense. This is a team that wants to control the clock on offense and let it’s defense create. The more touches for Fournette means the less opportunities for Blake Bortles to turn the ball over.

8. Melvin Gordon, Los Angeles Chargers

Gordon is on what could be a high powered offense that loves to get him involved. He’ll provide fantasy owners with production both on the ground and through the air. There are some slight durability concern as last year was his only 16-game season.

7. Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs

There’s no reason to think Hunt won’t be able to put up similar numbers to last season. He’s the team’s bell-cow and one of their top playmakers. The only concern is the shakeup at the quarterback spot.

Patrick Mahomes is now under center and his gun-slinging ways could bring on more turnovers and less opportunities for Hunt.

6. Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints

NFL defenses will be more prepared for Kamara this season. However, Sean Payton is more than capable of creating more ways to get Kamara involved. His dual-threat ability makes him slightly more valuable in PPR, but he will produce in any format.
