20. Kerryon Johnson, Detroit Lions

The Lions drafted Johnson with the hope they can finally stop the revolving door at the running back position. So far in the preseason, Johnson has looked like someone who could be the answer. The biggest question mark keeping his hype in check is his durability.

Johnson dealt with some injury problems while at Auburn.

19. Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans

Henry has a real opportunity to establish himself as a fantasy football force. He is on a team that wants to focus on running the ball and Henry is now the featured back. However, Dion Lewis is in the mix and will steal some work.

Lewis’ presence is also a concern because he has the potential to be the main back if Henry fails to impress.

18. Kenyan Drake, Miami Dolphins

Drake is an explosive athlete who is coming off a season where he showed a ton of flashes. Adam Gase is a coach who wants to feature a steady ground attack. However, the Dolphins offensive line is a work in progress and could keep Drake from reaching his potential.

17. Jay Ajayi, Philadelphia Eagles

The reports out of Philadelphia say Ajayi is in line for increased touches. However, Philadelphia’s running back situation is very crowded. Corey Clement and Darren Sproles will get touches and even could be featured some games.

There’s also the lingering concern surrounding Ajayi’s knee. He has been able to manage thus far, but he’s always a risk to miss some time.

16. Alex Collins, Baltimore Ravens

Collins is the clear-cut lead running back in Baltimore. He showed last year that he can be the bell-cow and produce. The Ravens have a solid offensive line and an overall attack that could help Collins’ situation.

Adding veteran receivers like Michael Crabtree, John Brown and Willie Snead the Ravens figure to have a more potent passing attack. This will pull some defenders out of the box.
