Los Angeles Chargers – Lance Alworth

The Los Angeles Chargers franchise was established back in 1959, and made their professional football debut in 1960. For that one year, they were known as the Los Angeles Chargers, but in 1961, they moved to San Diego, where they would play until this past season.

During their time in San Diego, the Chargers won one championship, which came in 1963 when  they were in the AFL. They came to  the NFL in the merger in 1970, and while they have had some notable players like Dan Fouts and Lance Alworth back then, their team in the 2000s was the best they had for an extended period of time.

Sure, they went to the Super Bowl during the 1994 season, but were blown out by the San Francisco 49ers. In the 2000s, they won the AFC West five times, including every year from 2006-09. During that time, they often wore their powder blue uniforms, which debuted for the team back in the 1960s, and seem to pop up every season recently.

In fact, the Chargers powder blue uniforms are one of the best uniforms in all of sports in my opinion, and the team always makes a fashion statement when they wear them. The Chargers are still searching for their first Super Bowl win, but anytime they wear the powder blues, it is a win.

This season, many experts like the Chargers to finally take back control of the AFC West, as they have a ton of talent on both sides of the ball. However, they have been suffering some devastating injuries all summer long, especially in the defensive backfield, so the division has to be considered up for grabs at this point.
