Team 1: Royce Freeman, RB, Broncos

Freeman is a downhill runner who is at his best between the tackles. The Broncos are committed to getting him work and he could seize a bulk of the carries early in the year.

Team 2: Derrick Henry, RB, Titans

The Titans are a run-first team and Henry is now their featured back. He’ll surrender some touches to Dion Lewis, but Henry will get first crack to carry the load.

Team 3: Kenyan Drake, RB, Dolphins

Team 3’s top running back options all come with some level of injury concern. David Johnson is returning from a major injury, Jerick McKinnon has been banged up and Drake’s college career was derailed by injuries.

Team 4: Dion Lewis, RB, Titans

Lewis will be a part of the Titans game plan. He signed a sizable contract and will bring some versatility to the offense. However, nobody is completely sure how he and Derrick Henry will share the load.

Team 5: Zach Ertz, TE, Eagles

Alshon Jeffery’s injury problem could mean a jump in targets for Ertz. He is already a favorite of both Carson Wentz and Nick Foles. Don’t be surprised if he finishes the year as the top fantasy tight end.

Team 6: Lamar Miller, RB, Texans

Team 6 has Miller and Jay Ajayi who have a chance to see their touches drop as the season progresses. The Texans liked what they saw from D’Onta Foreman and will get him involved once he’s healthy.

Team 7: JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Steelers

The fifth round could end up being way too late for JuJu Smith-Schuster. He showed major potential as a rookie which has continued on to this year’s preseason. The Steelers offense could absolutely support two elite fantasy receivers.

My Team: Russell Wilson, QB, Seahawks

I rarely grab a quarterback this early, but scanning the value of what was on the board I pulled the trigger on Russell. If JuJu Smith-Schuster would’ve dropped one more spot he would’ve been the pick.

Team 9: Tom Brady, QB, Patriots

Everyone is waiting for the year when Tom Brady finally starts to show his age. It’s one of the reasons why I went with Russell Wilson with the earlier pick.

Team 10: Golden Tate, WR, Lions

Tate is one of the more consistent fantasy performers in the league– especially in PPR formats. This is a safe pick for Team 10 who added riskier receivers earlier in Stefon Diggs and Tyreek Hill.
