Week 10: Nov. 3 – UCLA vs. Oregon (Eugene, OR)

When Chip Kelly returned to college football, he decided to rejoin the conference where he made a name for himself. In Week 10, Kelly will get a chance to return to Oregon, but this time as a visiting head coach with UCLA.

This is likely the venue that College GameDay will select, as Kelly returning to Oregon is going to be the biggest story of the day. They always aim to get a Pac-12 game on the schedule, and Kelly’s return fits the bill.

Things could be tough in the first season for the head coach of UCLA, as they transition their roster under him. College GameDay could always go with Alabama on the road against LSU if UCLA comes out of the gates flat as well.

Still, it’s going to be hard to ignore this story, as it’s one of the biggest of the year regardless of record. Kelly will get his first crack at knocking off the program he helped build into a Pac-12 powerhouse.

He’s got a lot of work to do with the UCLA program and they have a lot of tough games on the schedule this season. The battle on the road against Oregon is the one that everyone will be watching for.
