Week 11: Nov. 10 – Auburn vs. Georgia (Athens, GA)

The Auburn Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs traded wins with each other last season. In the regular season, the Georgia Bulldogs were plowing their way through everyone as they chased a perfect record.

Then they got thumped on the road against the Auburn Tigers, in their worst showing of the season. After the Tigers knocked off Alabama in the Iron Bowl, the two sides would meet in the SEC Championship Game.

There, the Bulldogs righted their lone loss of the season and thumped Auburn in return. These two programs will meet again this year, but this time, in Athens. As one of the hottest programs in college football right now, Georgia will certainly host a College GameDay.

An SEC Championship Game rematch during the regular season is certainly a fitting game to host the show. This is a huge game for both programs and the winner will come away with a huge signature victory for their resume.

For a conference game late in the season, few get better than this one this year. The only thing that would make this game better, is if it’s closer than both of the one-sided blowouts that happened last season.
