Week 12: Nov. 17 – West Virginia vs. Oklahoma State (Stillwater, OK)

Late in the season, there are a few weeks where big programs are off or there aren’t that many marquee games on the schedule. Week 12 does have one game everyone should be paying attention to in the Big-12.

While everyone is focused on Oklahoma and TCU, Oklahoma State and West Virginia want to make a run at the conference championship and this could be their year to do so. If the Sooners take a slight step back without Baker Mayfield, others could jump into the mix.

Week 13 features a huge game between West Virginia and Oklahoma State. West Virginia quarterback Will Grier comes into this season with plenty of hype, as he tries to boost his stock for the NFL Draft next season.

Oklahoma State actually plays rival Oklahoma in Norman the week prior. If the Cowboys come away with an upset victory on the road, then this game will certainly be the must-watch game of the week.

Stillwater is always a tough place to play and both of these programs could set themselves up for a shot at the Big-12 Championship Game with a win here. College GameDay has limited options during this week on the schedule, so Stillwater seems like the right choice for what should be an outstanding battle.
