Lewis Hamilton  – Arsenal

Few Formula 1 drivers in history are more accomplished than Lewis Hamilton. The English driver is a four-time Formula 1 World Champion, winning (to date) 67 races in his career. Hamilton also holds several Formula 1 records, including most career points, most pole positions, most wins at different circuits and most podium finishes in a season.

On the track, Hamilton represents Mercedes AMG Petronas. Off it, his loyalties lie with his favorite soccer team, Arsenal.

Hamilton spoke candidly about departing manager Arsene Wenger earlier this year, when it was revealed that Wenger would be stepping down from the position after 22 years with the team. Hamilton said that Wenger’s commitment and loyalty to the club, even in hard times, was “awesome.” Hamilton also revealed that he has supported Arsenal since he was 5 years old, and was happy that he had the privilege of meeting Wenger while he managed his favorite club.

In the past, Hamilton also believed that if his life had taken a different path, he could have played for or against Arsenal as a professional player. Hamilton even has experience sharing a pitch with professional talent. He attended school with Manchester United and England player Ashley Young, and remembers playing as a midfielder in his younger days.

Hamilton is an endorser of Puma products, and trained with Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin as part of a Puma advertising campaign earlier this year.

He may make his living on the track, but Lewis Hamilton’s ties to the Gunners are definitely apparent.
