3. Burnley hand Jose Mourinho third consecutive loss

Jose Mourinho is under a mountain of pressure, the kind of pressure that has led to him leaving previous jobs at Chelsea and Real Madrid. This time, though, he’s not got a huge backing of trophies to justify his team’s poor performances.

Despite not looking too bad against Spurs on Monday night they were eventually undone by some individual brilliance from the likes of Harry Kane and Lucas Moura, but also by the better organization of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

A world in which a Mourinho side is labelled disorganized seems like a strange one, but that’s what the Red Devils were on Monday night and in their previous fixture away at Brighton. It won’t get any easier this weekend as they face a tough trip to Burnley.

The Clarets have already had their Turf Moor fortress breached by a rampant Watford and they might struggle to keep Manchester United out. However, Sean Dyche will know that United are in a weak spot and his team can definitely get something from this match.

The only thing standing in Burnley’s way is their involvement in the Europa League. Playing Thursday and Sunday every week becomes tiring and it’s shown in some of Burnley’s early games. That’s not going to stop Dyche’s team’s commitment and they’ll be desperate to upset Mourinho.

If they can pull off a comeback against Olympiacos in the Europa League as well, then they’ll be even more up for this match. Watch on Sunday as Jose Mourinho experiences something he rarely will as a manager: three defeats in a row.
