87. . Offensive Tackle. Ole Miss. Greg Little. 18. player

The Carolina Panthers made it back to the playoffs last season, as they shook off a terrible 2016 campaign that saw them really fall off the face of the earth after making it to the Super Bowl the year before. Quarterback Cam Newton returned to form, finally healthy, and rookie running back Christian McCaffrey showed he was well-worth the first round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

As the Panthers head into 2018, they have a lot of work to do, as they were one of three members of the NFC South to make the playoffs last season. McCaffrey will be expected to carry the load even more with Jonathan Stewart gone, and the question is who is going to step up and be the No. 1 wideout on that side of the ball.

When it comes to the Panthers, you have to keep Newton upright, which is not something they have been able to do in recent years. Starting left tackle Matt Kalil is going to be out until at least Week 8, after placing him on injured reserve, so that is just another hurdle they are going to have to face to try and get back to the playoffs in a loaded NFC.

With their top pick in April, the Panthers should look to grab an offensive tackle, and Greg Little from Ole Miss looks like a guy who is ready for the NFL right now. Even when Kalil comes back, they can move Little to the right side until he is ready to take over protecting Newton’s blindside for the rest of his NFL career.
