2019 NFL Mock Draft: Bills land Nick Bosa at No. 1
By Brad Weiss
The Cleveland Browns have won only one game over the past two seasons, and have had the honor of having the first overall pick in the last two drafts. That will change next April, as they are no longer the worst team in the league, but the odds are they will still pick within the top-five of the draft.
When it comes to their last two drafts, they have had a ton of first round picks. In April, they will only have one, and they should use the selection on a player who can help them in the interior of their defense. 2017 first rounder Myles Garrett has shown he is nearly unblockable, so getting him some help on the inside makes sense.
Clelin Ferrell from Clemson is a big part of the best defensive line in college football, and they got off to a fast start to the season this past weekend. He would give the Browns a guy who can really bulldoze over offensive lineman, and free up Garrett for some easier sack opportunities in passing situations.
Baker Mayfield was selected first overall this past April, but he will sit behind Tyrod Taylor to at least start the season. Cleveland did a nice job bringing in some veteran talent this offseason, but it will really be up to the recent string of high draft picks to actually step up and lead this team out of the cellar of the AFC North.
