Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers (-7.5)

This number was -8 prior to the Chicago Bears trading for Khalil Mack. That seems strange. The Bears trade for one of the best players in the league, and it’s only worth half a point?

This is against the Green Bay Packers and a newly paid Aaron Rodgers. When the Bears came to Lambeau Field last season, they lost by three touchdowns. However, this isn’t last year’s Bears team.

At the same time, this isn’t last year’s Packers team. The team went out and signed Mo Wilkerson to provide a rush on the front seven. There are still stars in Clay Matthews and Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix. This Packers team will likely be one of the teams that return to the playoffs.

This week, however, the Bears are riding high. Even if Mack isn’t as dominant as he usually is, the lift this team got will help them make this a competitive game. As long as Mitch Trubisky can make throws, we’ll have an exciting first week of Sunday Night Football. That means you should take the points.
