Bournemouth vs. Leicester live stream: Watch Premier League online
By Warren Pegg
Bournemouth face Leicester at Dean Court on Saturday, Sept. 15. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Following a couple of mid-table finishes under their likable young manager Eddie Howe, it seems this could be the season when Bournemouth push on toward European contention. Sixth place doesn’t flatter them at all, and they’ve often been a pleasure to watch. After impressive wins over West Ham and Cardiff, they came from two goals down in an eventful home draw with Everton. And just before the international break, they were unlucky not to leave Stamford Bridge with anything, following a tight match in which Bournemouth certainly had their chances. The Cherries spent a club record £25m on Jefferson Lerma in the summer, but it’s a lower profile signing who’s stood out so far – 21-year-old attacking midfielder David Brooks.
Much like Bournemouth, Leicester’s last game saw them put in a good performance against title contenders, in their case Liverpool. After a summer in which they lost Riyad Mahrez but managed to keep hold of Harry Maguire despite interest from bigger clubs, it’s been an inconsistent season for Leicester so far. The Foxes were very unfortunate to be defeated by Manchester United in their season opener, but then beat Wolves 2-0 a week later courtesy of a freak own-goal and a cruel deflection. Their luck was in again against Southampton, when they scraped a win in a very even game. Leicester also have a potential star of the future in their ranks in the form of James Maddison. Bought from Norwich for £22m during the last transfer window, he was excellent against Liverpool. As with Brooks, he’s certainly someone to keep any eye on as the season progresses.
