Winner: LSU Tigers (No. 12 up to No. 6)

Who saw this coming at the beginning of the season? In three weeks, LSU has beaten two top-10 teams and neither of them was at home.

In Week 1, No. 8 Miami didn’t stand much of a chance against the Tigers’ elite defense and on Saturday night, they were able to take down the No. 7 Auburn Tigers on a last-second field goal at Jordan-Hare to completely silence the crowd and send the fans home heartbroken.

The Tigers were able to silence the doubters who said they stood no chance against Auburn, beating the fellow Tigers 22-21.

Joe Burrow had an inaccurate day, completing less than 50 percent of his 34 attempts, but he had 249 yards and a touchdown. He may not look elite, but he sparked the offense and didn’t make any major mistakes, keeping the Tigers in the game until the very end and putting them in position to make the game-winning field goal on a day when the run game wasn’t working.

This LSU team is legit and now we can talk about the Tigers being serious SEC title contenders.
