18. player. 26. . Wide Receiver. Stanford. JJ Arcega-Whiteside

The Baltimore Ravens got their 2018 seaosn kicked off in a big way during their Week 1 matchup agianst the Buffalo Bills, beating the AFC East opponent by the score of 47-3. Coming into their Week 2 Thursday Night Football matchup agianst division rival Cincinnati, many liked the Ravens to move to 2-0, but Baltimore was once again done in by Andy Dalton and company.

Still, the Ravens look like a team that is going to challenge for a playoff spot this season, as they brought in some nice pieces this offseason. Michael Crabtree is a stellar addition the wide receiver group, but he can only do so much, and the Ravens should look to add more talent via the draft next April.

One player who should hear his name called in the first round is JJ Arcega-Whiteside from Stanford. JJ has the talent to stretch the defense, and if the Ravens are going to keep Joe Flacco around, he is a perfect weapon for those times that Flacco likes to take shots deep downfield.

During the 2018 NFL Draft, the Ravens went offense with both of their first round picks, bringing in tight end Hayden Hurst, and quarterback Lamar Jackson. The team may decide to hand the reins over to Jackson at the end of the season, and bringing in more talent for him to throw to also makes sense, especially if the Ravens are picking towards the middle of the first round.
