The Los Angeles Rams rolled over the Oakland Raiders in Week 1 under the lights of Monday Night Football, and then followed that up with a drubbing of fellow NFC West participant, Arizona in Week 2. The defense for the Rams was firing on all cylinders, blanking David Johnson and the Cardinals, while stating their case as being the best team in football.

For the Rams, they had a tremendous offseason, adding talented players on both sides of the ball. Brandin Cooks was brought in to add depth to the wide receiver group, and Pro Bowlers Ndamukong Suh, Marcus Peters, and Aqib Talib were added to give the Rams arguably the best defense in the NFC.

Suh is only on a one-year contract, so they may want to use their first round pick in 2019 on a defensive lineman. Montez Sweat from Mississippi State is a guy who can play all over the line, adding great depth at the edge, and in the middle, and would be perfect for the Rams if they decide to let Suh walk after one season with the team.

The Rams look to be the real deal, and with Jared Goff on his rookie contract for another two years after this one, they have the money to bring in talent to try and win a Super Bowl or two. When it comes to their roster in 2018, they are the most balanced in the NFL, and it is looking like Sean McVay could become the youngest coach to ever win a Super Bowl before all of this is said and done.
