Quarterback: Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers

@ Kansas City Chiefs, Sunday 1:00 p.m.

FanDuel Cost: $7,400

Everyone is talking about how great Patrick Mahomes has looked through two games, but the same amount of attention should be shown to the poor play of the Chiefs defense. This group has allowed over 420 passing yards in each of the past two weeks.

Phillip Rivers and Ben Roelisberger are top-notch quarterbacks who took full advantage of the Chiefs poor pass defense. Jimmy Garoppolo heads to Kansas City this week and is poised to put up similar numbers.

His FanDuel cost of $7,400 is very reasonable and will allow you to spend bigger on different positions.

Backup Option: Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles

vs. Indianapolis Colts, Sunday 1:00 p.m.

FanDuel Cost: $7,400

Carson Wentz has been cleared for action and will start this week against the Indianapolis Colts. This is a great matchup for Wentz and the Eagles as the Colts defense has been shaky at best. It may take a series or two before Wentz gets his feet under him, but he should have a solid week.

The Eagles running game might be a little short handed with Jay Ajayi missing some time with an injury. However, there’s some hope that Alshon Jeffery could also be back in the lineup this week.
