FanDuel NFL: Best lineup for Week 3

FLEX: Austin Ekeler, Los Angeles Chargers

Austin Ekeler has maintained a presence in the Los Angeles Chargers despite the Melvin Gordon being the team’s top back. Los Angeles sees Ekeler as an offensive weapon and someone who can be used all over the field.

They are able to really keep defenses on their heels with the combination of Ekeler and Gordon. Both players are so versatile that it’s hard to gameplan or figure out the Chargers intentions.

This week’s game against the Rams could see Ekeler get more than his usual workload. The Rams have an excellent cornerback duo which will make life difficult for the Chargers wide receivers. They might find it easier working the ball the backs instead.

Backup Option: Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings

vs. Buffalo Bills, Sunday 1:00 p.m.

FanDuel Cost: $5,900

Maybe I’m picking on the Bills, but they have looked so bad that I’m starting as many Vikings playmakers as possible. Rudolph doesn’t get a ton of targets but remains a very strong red zone threat.

He represents a cheaper flex option that will allow you to spend elsewhere. I fully expect the Vikings to move the ball with ease and get Rudolph involved in the action.
