Heisman Watch 2018: Will Grier, other candidates outlook for Week 4
2018 Stats: 66 of 91, 890 yds, 11 TD, 1 INT
Next Game: vs Tulane
Dwayne Haskins had his first real challenge of the 2018 season against TCU and made it through with no issues at all. The Horned Frogs had looked pretty solid defensively coming into the Ohio State game, and many thought it would be a home win for TCU.
344 yards and two Haskins touchdowns later, the Buckeyes are 3-0, Urban Meyer is back from his suspension, and suddenly everyone is looking at Ohio State as a potential playoff team again.
The upcoming game against Tulane will likely be a chance for Haskins to get some work in and then take a rest while backup Tate Martell takes a few snaps against the Green Wave.
A game against a team like Tulane won’t hurt Haskins’ Heisman chances at all, as the Buckeyes opened the season against three straight Power 5 opponents and handled them all with relative ease.
