7. Myles Turner

One of the biggest surprises of last season was the resurgence of the Indiana Pacers led by the 2018 Most Improved Player, Victor Oladipo. With the addition of Tyreke Evans, the Pacers are looking to take a leap and establish themselves as a top-tier eastern conference team.

One man who will play a large role in determining their fate is the 6-foot-11 center out of Texas, Myles Turner. Turner’s per 100 possession stats have been incredibly consistent throughout each of his three seasons. He shot a career high 2.4 3-pointers per game last year and hit 36 percent of them, an impressive clip for a young big man that he will be looking maintain or improve.

Turner shined in the playoffs against the Cavaliers, putting up over 12 points per game with excellent shooting numbers. If Turner can continue to be an effective shot blocker and a well-rounded scorer, the Pacers will keep looking for him as a steady hand in their offense and a key part of their defense.
