3. Kyle Anderson

The swingman affectionately known as ‘Slo-Mo’ has found a new home. Kyle Anderson left San Antonio this summer to sign with the Memphis Grizzlies on a four-year, $37.2 million contract. Anderson will give Memphis some badly needed depth on the wing, filling the hole left by the inconsistent health of Chandler Parsons and the departure of Tyreke Evans.

Anderson’s 7-foot-3 wingspan and defensive prowess allows him to guard multiple positions, while his crafty mid-range game makes him a scoring threat. He moved the ball well last year, doubling his assists per game in his final season with the Spurs.

His usage rate hardly changed in his four years in San Antonio, so it’s reasonable to believe that a change of scenery as well as more offensive opportunities could lead to Anderson emerging as a young star.
