Start: Gio Bernard, Cincinnati Bengals

vs. Carolina Panthers

Joe Mixon is out for a few weeks which puts Gio Bernard in line to handle the bulk of the work at running back. Bernard show some flashes this past week when filling in for Mixon. He’s a quick-twitch athlete who has proven in the past he can produce in fantasy football.

The Cincinnati Bengals are off to a strong start this season with the offense firing on all cylinders. Going from Mixon to Bernard isn’t much of a downgrade and should allow this group to keep its rhythm.

Bernard is a versatile back who will give you points as a runner and pass catcher. The Carolina Panthers defense has plenty of talent, but they just allowed Tevin Coleman to run for over 100 yards.

Sit: Peyton Barber, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense has surprised the entire league. This passing attack is lethal and what has the Buccaneers sitting at 2-0 on the young season. Fitzpatrick is due for some regression, but that doesn’t mean they will go away from the pass.

Peyton Barber hasn’t found his stride here in the regular season and could start losing work. Tampa Bay has rookie second round pick, Ronald Jones, on the bench just waiting for his opportunity.
