WWE has now confirmed that Liv Morgan has indeed suffered a concussion from the six-woman tag team match she participated on during last night’s episode of Raw, according to Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer.

There’s been much speculation that WWE’s Liv Morgan suffered an injury during Monday night’s episode of Raw due to getting accidentally kicked in the head twice by Brie Bella. It can now be confirmed as Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer has reported a statement from WWE on Morgan’s status, stating that she has indeed suffered a concussion from the six-woman tag team match in which she participated.

The statement read, “Liv Morgan has a concussion and is going through the proper protocol under WWE’s comprehensive wellness program.”

It’s unknown how long Morgan will be out of action due to the concussion she suffered, considering she’s scheduled to perform at the WWE Super-Showdown in less than two weeks as she teams with the Riott Squad to take on Ronda Rousey and The Bella Twins. And since this match has been hyped up a lot due to the involvement of Rousey and The Bella Twins, it’s going to be interesting to see WWE’s backup plan if Morgan isn’t able to wrestle at that event.

It’s also worth noting as of late ever since her return to in-ring action, Brie Bella has been widely criticized by fans for her in-ring performances she’s been putting on recently. However, there seems to be no indication from reputable sources that there’s any massive heat on Bella at the moment.

With The Bella Twins garnering massive criticism from hardcore wrestling fans, as many look at them as just reality stars rather than professional wrestlers, is it possible that WWE may use this as a way to book the women’s division differently going forward?
