2. Roll with the Super Bowl champs

Things looked a little shaky for the Eagles during the first few weeks of the season. Carson Wentz is back now though. The Philadelphia offense is now a ticking time bomb in a good way.

Wentz did enough to get the Eagles a 20-16 victory over the Colts in his return, but he’s obviously capable of much more. This matchup against the Titans isn’t great, but it’s also true he won’t be required to do too much. It’s hard to imagine the Tennessee offense doing much against the Eagles defense.

That’s why taking the Eagles -4 is the right play here. A couple big plays from Wentz will be enough to put this game out of reach. If Philadelphia can grab an early lead, this game has the potential to get out of hand.

We aren’t necessarily predicting a blowout, but it’s definitely a possibility. The more likely scenario is that the Eagles will win a pretty ugly game by multiple scores. This is another game you can tease if you’d like. We’d feel good about taking the Eagles -6.5 here. Don’t go past that, but this is a spot where you can be aggressive.
