1. Bet big on the Saints

Every year there are some lines that really confuse us. Some turn out to be trap games, others turn out to just be bad calls by Vegas. We like this game to be one of the latter.

The mood around the Giants has improved after last week’s win over the Texans. That’s just an example of one bad team beating another bad team. It shouldn’t change how you feel about the Giants this season. This is still a below average football team with real issues on offense.

The Saints aren’t a great football team, but there aren’t any questions about their ability to move the football and put up points. Drew Brees is one of the best quarterbacks in football and Michael Thomas is arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL this season. Combine them with Alvin Kamara and they’re simply too much for the Giants defense to handle.

The only way the Giants can keep this game close is if it’s a shootout. Eli Manning and company can’t score like Brees and the Saints. That’s why taking the Saints -3 is the obvious choice here. Giving up three points on a team with a significant chance of blowing the opposition out is always a solid choice.

This is a game where you can make serious money. Go wild here. Bet the mortgage, but don’t tell your significant other until you collect your winnings.
