Running Backs: Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys- $8,200 & Chris Carson, Seattle Seahawks- $6,400

These two running backs were opponents in Week 3, but now they are teammates in my Week 4 lineup.

Dallas’ offense continues to struggle, but Elliot is their biggest threat. Through three games, Elliot has compiled 274 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Elliot rushed for 100+ yards for the first time in 2018 against the Seattle Seahawks.

He finished Week 3 with only 13.3 fantasy points, but his point total should have been higher. Elliot had one fumble and a 31-yard touchdown reception negated for “illegal touching.” Put these two blunders aside and Elliot would have finished in the top-10 in fantasy points at the position.

This week, Elliot has a great chance to go for 100+ yards in back-to-back games for the first time this season, as the Cowboys take on the Detroit Lions. The Lions have allowed the third-most fantasy points to running backs. Detroit has given up 450 yards on the ground, most in the NFL. In one career game against the Lions, Elliot rushed for 87 yards and two scores.

Meanwhile, Carson is coming off a career game against the Dallas Cowboys. He had 32 carries for 102 yards and one score. The last running back to rush for 100 yards in the regular season for the Seattle Seahawks was Thomas Rawls in 2016. He finished Week 3 with 19.4 fantasy points, seventh-most at the position.

Carson had a whopping 34 touches compared to teammate Rashaad Penny’s three. The Seahawks take on a Cardinal’s team that has struggled against the run immensely in 2018. They have allowed the most rushing touchdowns in the league (5) and are one of two teams that have given up 100+ fantasy points to running backs. Opposing backs are averaging 123.33 yards per game.

Keep an eye out on Carson’s availability for Sunday’s game. He was limited at practice earlier in the week with a hip injury. If he is good to go, he will get a majority of the touches against Arizona. This will be another great opportunity to prove to Pete Carroll that he is the best back on the depth chart.
