The Indianapolis Colts lost a big divisional game to the Houston Texans this past weekend, and new head coach Frank Reich played a big role in the loss. Instead of punting the ball away during overtime and taking the tie, Reich decided to go for it, and when the team failed on fourth down, they gave the Texans the ball back on their side of the field.

The Texans ended up winning 34-31, sending the Colts to a 1-3 record to start Reich’s tenure in Indianapolis, but they have shown some signs that they could be a contender in the near future. Andrew Luck may be lacking some velocity on his throws, but he looked very good on Sunday, which is a great sign after missing all of last season.

Indianapolis has a bunch of holes that need to be filled, and they can utilize their first round pick next April at filling one of them. They need some serious help up front on the defensive side of the ball, and picking a guy from that elite defensive line at Clemson would be a nice way to fill the gaps in the middle of the unit.

Dexter Lawrence is a guy who should hear his name called in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, and he would be a nice fit in Indianapolis. He has an incredible motor, and is not only great at stopping the run, but he has the power to really push interior offensive lineman back into the quarterback’s face. Reich has a way to go before the Colts are back at the top of the AFC South, but Lawrence would be a solid pick in 2019.
