WR: John Brown, Baltimore Ravens

By now, the secret is out, as most fantasy owners realize that John Brown is back on form. He was one of the best playmaking wide receivers in the league, as he dominated the 2015 season with over 1,000 receiving yards as the X-Factor in the Arizona Cardinals offense. Injuries prevented him from truly building on his work that year, but with a change of scenery in Baltimore and a focused Joe Flacco, Brown might be back at his best.

Brown needed just three catches on seven targets to drop 116 receiving yards and a touchdown on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 4, and he honestly could have snagged even more yardage if Flacco’s chemistry with him were better. Willie Snead and Michael Crabtree have given Flacco other credible receiving options, but Brown is by far the best skill position player in the Ravens offense right now.

This season, Brown is averaging 84 receiving yards per game with over 22 yards per reception, and he has three touchdowns to his name already. This is shaping up to be a monster season for Brown, and he’s been a big part of Flacco’s bounce-back campaign. It seems like the best is yet to come, and Brown will soon be owned in just about every fantasy league.

The talent is legit, the situation is legit, and the production has been eye-opening thus far. Brown’s yards per reception total will come back to earth, but his targets have nowhere to go but up.
